Henri-Lloyd
Henri-Lloyd is a Manchester sailing brand started by Henri Strzelecki in 1963. It makes foul-weather gear and everyday clothing for sailors and powerboaters, for men and women. Sir Robin Knox-Johnston wore its kit when he sailed non-stop around the world in 1968. Ben Ainslie has worked with the brand for more than 25 years.

About Henri-Lloyd
Kit by activity
The range is organised by where people sail: offshore, coastal, inshore or on a powerboat. Waterproof jackets, smocks, gilets and insulated jackets lead the line-up. The Consort Jacket, a design dating from 1965, is still part of it.
Below the waist there are salopettes and sailing trousers, plus chinos, shorts and skorts. Layering pieces include baselayers, fleeces, Dri-Fast tops, knitwear, polos and rugby shirts.
Named ranges help narrow things down: Ocean PRO for offshore use, the Originals heritage line, Marine Classics and Breeze Crew jackets. Clubs and companies can place teamwear orders.
Delivery and returns
Standard UK shipping is £4 and arrives in four to five business days, and orders above £80 go free. Express is £7 for three to four business days. Parcels are packed in the Netherlands, and dispatch days for the UK are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Import duties are covered by Henri-Lloyd.
Sending something back costs nothing if it is booked through the online returns portal no more than 30 days after dispatch. Pieces should be unused and saleable, still with their hangtags and packaging. Money goes back to the card or account used to pay, within a fortnight of the return reaching Henri-Lloyd. The original shipping charge is not refunded, and an exchange works as a return plus a fresh order.
Good to know
Henri-Lloyd also ships to the EU, the US and further afield, with rest-of-world rates worked out at checkout. Its Rewards programme earns points in stores and online.

Henri-Lloyd FAQs
Where does Henri-Lloyd send UK orders from?
Bleckmann, a logistics firm, packs UK orders in the Netherlands. Parcels head to the UK three times a week, and Henri-Lloyd pays any import duties.
How long do I have to return Henri-Lloyd clothing?
You have 30 days from dispatch, and returns booked through the online portal are free. Anything sent back should be unused and saleable, hangtags and packaging included.
Can I exchange a Henri-Lloyd jacket for a different size?
Not directly. Send the jacket back as a return, then place a new order for the size you need.
Are there lower prices for people who work at sea?
Yes. The PRO Program offers reduced prices on performance gear for people in the marine trade, as well as emergency workers, healthcare staff and defence personnel.
Is Henri-Lloyd only for serious sailors?
No. Alongside offshore and coastal kit, it sells Originals heritage pieces, polos, knitwear and caps that work just as well away from the water.
