Gardening Express
Gardening Express is an online-only garden centre in Essex, founded in 1999 by Chris Bonnett. It grows thousands of plants on its own 14-acre nursery and posts them out across the UK. The range runs from perennials, shrubs and fruit trees to bulbs and houseplants, with pots, tools and bird care alongside. It works for beginners and for people filling gaps in an established garden.

About Gardening Express
Plants for borders, patios and windowsills
Border staples include hellebores, heuchera, salvia, echinacea and verbena. Shrub and tree choices take in hydrangeas, acers, magnolias, lavender, lilac and fruit trees, and there are climbers for walls and fences. Bulb buyers can pick tulips, daffodils, alliums and hyacinths. Indoors, the houseplant range covers monstera, orchids, large statement plants and varieties suited to homes with pets.
Beyond the plants
Pots and planters, garden furniture, tools and wild bird care products fill the supplies side. For newer gardeners there are plant care guides and a beginners' gardening course on the site.
