About DotcomBlinds

DotcomBlinds is an online blind retailer that makes most of what it sells at its own factory and head office on Enterprise Way in Wickford, Essex. The business is run by DotcomBlinds Limited (Companies House number 10448566, incorporated in October 2016), and its story page names two directors: Ryan, who leads strategy, and Garth, who handles finance. Every blind and curtain is cut to the buyer's measurements. What DotcomBlinds sells Roller blinds in blackout, thermal, day-and-night, cassette and extra-wide versions, run by chain, crank, battery, solar panel or mains power Roman, vertical, aluminium Venetian and real or faux wood Venetian blinds, plus replacement vertical slats No-drill options such as EasyTwist rollers, PerfectFit and Clic Fit blinds for uPVC frames, and bifold door blinds Smart roller blinds with MotionBlinds or Eve MotionBlinds motors that work with Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings Bespoke curtains in prints from Cath Kidston, Laura Ashley, Ted Baker and William Morris, plus curtain tracks and cubicle tracks for clinics and surgeries Fabric samples cost nothing, and the FAQ suggests ordering them first because colours on a screen can look different from the real cloth. Delivery and returns Standard delivery costs £9.99, and orders over £299 ship free. Roller, vertical and metal Venetian blinds arrive in 3 to 5 working days, or up to 7 at busy times; Roman, bifold and conservatory styles list their own lead times. A paid Same Day Priority Dispatch option on selected blinds sends orders placed before 11am on a working day out that afternoon for next-working-day delivery. Deliveries go to mainland UK; Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, the Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands can cost extra, and nothing is shipped abroad. Because each item is bespoke, DotcomBlinds refuses returns and refunds for mismeasuring or a change of mind. Cancelling gets a full refund only if production has not started. Transit damage or a manufacturing fault has to be reported with photos within 10 working days of delivery. Right-Size Guarantee For £9.99 at checkout, this optional cover lets a customer send back one wrongly measured blind from the order, at their own postage cost, and have it remade to corrected sizes. The terms limit it to four claims per household in any 12 months.
