Build-A-Bear Workshop
Build-A-Bear Workshop lets you make your own soft toy. You pick an animal, have it stuffed, add a heart, a sound or a scent, then dress it. The American company, founded in 1997, has shops across the UK and Ireland. Its UK website sells the bears, characters, outfits and accessories for home delivery. It suits birthdays and gifts with a personal touch.

About Build-A-Bear Workshop
Choosing a furry friend
The line-up runs from classic teddy bears and bunnies to characters from well-known films, TV shows and franchises. Personal touches include sounds, scents and a heart, and each new friend gets a name and a birth certificate. That makes it a natural fit for birthdays, new babies or a keepsake for a grown-up collector.
A wardrobe for every occasion
Clothes are half the fun. There are everyday outfits, pyjamas, superhero costumes and smarter formal wear, plus shoes, hats and tiny sunglasses. Mixing pieces means two bears of the same kind can end up looking quite different. Gift cards are sold too, which helps if the child would rather choose for themselves.
Ordering online
Standard and express delivery are offered across the UK, with prices and timings shown on the website. The UK site does not ship abroad. Check the returns policy before you buy, as personalised bears can have their own return conditions. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal. The Bonus Club gives a point per £1 spent, with rewards as points build up, plus birthday treats and early access to new collections. The Guest Experience team answers phone and email Monday to Saturday from 9am to 11pm, and on Sundays from 1pm to 10:30pm.
