About British Airways

Cabins and baggage

The cabins run from economy and premium economy up to Club World, the business class cabin, and first class at the top. What you get, from seats to meals, varies with the cabin and the length of the flight. Hand luggage allowances also depend on cabin and ticket type. In most cases you can take one cabin bag along with a smaller personal item.

Holidays and Avios

British Airways Holidays puts flights, selected hotels and car hire into one booking, covering city breaks and beach trips. The Executive Club is free to join. Members build up Avios on British Airways flights and through partners including other airlines, hotels and retailers. Avios then go towards flights, upgrades and more. Student Beans runs a student scheme for British Airways Holidays, and the airline also works with StudentUniverse.
