About BookBeat
How the plans work
BookBeat charges by time rather than by title. There are three plans: Basic, Standard and Premium. Basic costs £7.99 a month for 20 hours, and Standard doubles that to 40 hours. Extra family profiles can be added for £4.99 a month each. There is no contract, so you can cancel at any time, but partial months are not refunded. New users can start with a free trial.
What's in the library
Thrillers, romance, non-fiction and learning titles all feature, along with bestsellers and new releases. Popular picks have included A Court of Thorns and Roses and The Housemaid's Secret. The apps run on iOS and Android, and downloads work offline, limited only by your device's storage.
