Two levels of cover
GO covers theft and damage. PLUS adds personal protection, including medical, dental and optical costs and serious personal accident cover. Both include accessory and kit cover, legal expenses and worldwide protection all year round. Bikmo is regulated by the FCA.
How pricing works
Adding a second bike to the same policy costs less than the first, and e-bike premiums are reduced too. Proof of ownership doesn't have to be a receipt, which helps with second-hand bikes. Partnerships with Cyclescheme, British Cycling and Bike to Work bring savings to their members. A student discount has also been reported through UNiDAYS, so check the site.
Buying and cancelling
Quotes are given online, and policy documents arrive by email straight away. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard or Direct Debit. New policies come with a 14-day cooling-off period and a full refund if cancelled in that time. Claims and accounts are handled through an online portal. Support works Monday to Friday by phone or email.
