Bike Club

Bike Club rents children's bikes on a monthly subscription, then swaps them for a bigger size as the child grows. The London company started in 2016 and is a certified B Corporation. It suits families who would rather not buy, sell and store a string of outgrown bikes, and it delivers free across mainland UK.

About Bike Club

How the subscription works

Parents pick a bike that fits now and pay a monthly fee. When the child shoots up, the bike can be exchanged for the next size or a different style. Sizes start with balance bikes for toddlers and go up to bikes for older children, all from reputable brands. Returned bikes are professionally refurbished and passed on, which keeps them in use for longer.

Delivery and cancelling

Bikes arrive fully assembled and ready to ride. There is no long-term commitment, and members can cancel at any time. Collection of the bike is arranged without charge, and new members also get a 14-day cooling-off period. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

Extras

The Pedal Points scheme rewards orders and referrals with points to spend later. NHS staff and armed forces personnel can get a discount through Blue Light Card. Member Support answers questions by email. That covers anything from picking the right size to booking a swap or arranging a collection.
