Before you pick up
Drivers need a licence they have held for 12 months or more, plus a card, credit or debit, in their own name. Most vehicles require the driver to be at least 23. One-way hire between many branches is possible, sometimes with an extra charge. Handing the car back early can change the price, so check the terms if plans shift. Avis accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and debit cards.
