Most bookings are standard car hire, from economy cars for getting around a city to luxury models. Motorhome and campervan hire is the other big strand, with Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Spain, Argentina and South Africa among the popular destinations. People who need a car abroad for months can look at long-term leases that come with short-term conditions.
Booking and changing plans
Booking takes three steps. Rental specialists are on hand seven days a week, before, during and after a hire. The Reservation Department handles upcoming or live rentals, while finished ones are handled through Manage My Booking or Customer Service. Cancellation is free up to two days before pickup. In the UK, cars can be collected at airports, train stations and city locations.
Price promise and payment
AutoEurope says it will match or beat a lower rate found elsewhere for the same rental conditions. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are taken. Students, NHS staff and members of the military can also get standing discounts.
