ArtistWorks
ArtistWorks is an online music school from Napa, California, now part of TrueFire Studios. Its courses are taught by professional players, including Grammy winners and nominees, across guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, violin, piano, drums, voice and more. The standout feature is video feedback: you film yourself playing, and your teacher replies with a video of their own.

About ArtistWorks
How the lessons work
Each instrument has a structured library of lessons that you work through at your own pace. When you want guidance, you upload a clip of your playing and the instructor records a personal response. ArtistWorks calls this Video Exchange Learning, and the exchanges are kept in an archive that every student can watch, so you also learn from other people's questions.
Who teaches
The faculty runs to more than 35 musicians, among them Bryan Sutton, Tony Trischka, Mike Marshall, Sierra Hull, Paul Gilbert, Nathan East and Peter Erskine. Styles span bluegrass, country, blues, jazz, rock and classical, which suits players who want to study a genre with a specialist.
