About Arighi Bianchi
A store with history
The shop occupies a Grade II* listed building. Its front of cast iron and glass was modelled on the Crystal Palace, and the building was saved from demolition in 1973. Visiting is part of the appeal, though the website lets customers order from home.
Room by room
Living rooms are covered with sofas and chairs, and there is a full dining room range. Bedrooms get beds, bedroom furniture and mattresses. Beyond furniture, the store sells carpets, rugs and other flooring, lighting and accessories, curtains and soft furnishings, and fitted kitchens. Stock comes from more than 25 brands, with an emphasis on British craftsmanship and local products.
In-house designers give free advice and ideas for any room, which helps when furnishing a whole home.
Delivery and aftercare
Orders are delivered from the company's warehouses in Macclesfield, and every item is quality checked before it leaves. In-stock items often arrive within seven days. For returns, contact the store to discuss the policy. Customer service handles enquiries and aftercare by phone and email, Monday to Friday.
Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal, and finance is available. A Loyalty Scheme lets customers earn points on purchases and redeem them for rewards. NHS and Armed Forces staff can claim discounts through the Blue Light Card.
