Appliances Direct
Appliances Direct sells household electricals online from its base in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, and belongs to the Buy It Direct Group. Most of the range is large kitchen and laundry equipment, but the shop also carries TVs, heating and cooling units and small countertop appliances. Orders go through the website or over the phone, and two collection points offer an alternative to a home drop-off.

About Appliances Direct
What the shop stocks
Most visitors come for the big items. Cooking appliances include ovens, hobs and range cookers, and refrigeration covers American-style fridge freezers as well as integrated models. For laundry there are washing machines, washer-dryers and tumble dryers, and dishwashers sit in the kitchen section. Familiar brands on the site include Bosch, Neff, Siemens, AEG and Hotpoint.
Beyond white goods, the shop sells televisions, dehumidifiers, air conditioners and heaters. Kettles, toasters, microwaves, blenders and vacuum cleaners cover the smaller end, along with kitchen sinks and taps. Business buyers are served as well as households.
Getting it delivered
Delivery is priced by the size of the item, starting at £2.99, and some products travel free. Next-day and named-day slots are available, which helps when an old machine has already broken down. Collection points in Huddersfield and the East Midlands are the other option. Installation can be added to many large appliances for an extra fee. The old appliance can also be taken away for recycling when the new one arrives.
Returns, payment and extras
Returns are accepted within 14 days, but only on items that are unused and still uninstalled. Ask customer service for a Returns Number before posting anything back. Checkout takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna. Students can get a discount after verifying with Student Beans, and NHS staff and armed forces members have schemes of their own. Regular customers can join the VIP Programme, which rewards repeat orders with gift cards.
