Airfix
Airfix has made plastic scale model kits in Britain since 1939 and now belongs to Hornby Hobbies, alongside Scalextric and Corgi. Its own website carries the full catalogue, from historic fighters and modern jets to tanks, ships, cars and space subjects. Beginners can start with sets that include paint and brushes, while experienced modellers take on bigger, more detailed builds.

Ordering from the website
Express UK shipping offers next-working-day delivery, and Click & Collect is available too. Gift cards suit a modeller whose wish list you don't know. Unopened kits can go back within 14 days of delivery through the online returns portal. Visa, Mastercard and PayPal are accepted, and orders can also ship abroad. Shopperazzi shows the kits Airfix currently lists, along with its delivery terms.
