What the range covers

The shakes come in flavours such as chocolate orange, vanilla, banana and strawberry. Savoury choices include tomato and red pepper soup, spicy carrot and a green vegetable blend. Porridge comes as creamy original, apple and cinnamon, or golden syrup. The chocolate protein bars have mint, sea salt or caramel versions, and a discovery pack mixes them. Taster packs and bundles lasting one or four weeks are sold too, along with a shaker. Two extras complete the line-up: Fibre Complex and the Complete+ drinks for hydration and nutrition.

How a plan works

Adday describes a typical plan of about four months. For the first three, four servings a day take the place of every meal, at a daily intake of 800 to 900 kcal. The last month brings ordinary food back gradually. The brand compares this with the NHS's Path to Remission programme for Type 2 diabetes. It asks anyone with diabetes to check with a GP or other health professional first.

Before you order

Each product is vegetarian and halal, the brand says, and the bars and soups are suitable for vegans. Peanuts appear in the bars, which matters for anyone with an allergy. Adday aims to dispatch within a business day of payment, and parcels then take two to three working days. Because everything is food, opened packs can't be sent back. A wrong, broken or faulty item is replaced instead.
