Xtreme Apparel is a Barnstaple brand, launched in 2023, best known for its weatherproof changing robes. Director Steve Chapman, a former rugby player, co-founded it with his wife, Lisa, and Guy Stanton, a local entrepreneur. They draw on more than 30 years in sports and outdoor clothing. It suits swimmers, surfers, dog walkers and parents on the touchline who need to stay warm and dry.

About Xtreme Apparel
Robes, jackets and knitwear
The weatherproof robes are the headline product, joined by outdoor jackets built for similar conditions. Fully waterproof and windproof zips, taped and heat-sealed seams and waterproofing rated as high as 22,000mm keep rain out. Steve Chapman developed some of the original drying jackets and swim parkas sold abroad, and that background shows in the design.
Away from the weather gear, there are cashmere jumpers for layering and beanies for cold mornings. The pieces work for camping, hiking and gym trips, as well as the school run.
Branded workwear
Businesses can order embroidered or printed items carrying their logo. Minimum quantities depend on the product and the decoration method, so contact the team for a quote.
Before you buy
UK delivery is free on orders over £100, and express options are offered. International shipping is available. Items that have not been personalised can be returned within 14 days. Purchases made between 1st and 24th December can come back until 31st January, which helps with gifts. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal or bank transfer.
