About Woollux

Why wool

Woollux builds its mattresses for firm support, and the bedding is designed to sit alongside them. Wool helps regulate body heat, so the bed stays cooler in summer and warmer in winter. It also wicks moisture away.

The products are hypoallergenic with no added chemicals, and they resist dust mites. Wool resists flame naturally, so no chemical flame retardants are added. At the end of its life the fibre is biodegradable and can be composted.

Where the wool comes from

The brand sources from OEKO-TEX certified farms. Sheep there roam freely and graze in a regenerative way, which Woollux says is better for animals, land and rural life.

Ordering to the UK

Shipping is free to anywhere in the world, the UK included. Each piece is handcrafted after you order and ships within 7 to 10 business days. Allow for that before your old mattress goes. To arrange a return, contact customer service first; items must be unused. The team answers by email and phone from Monday to Saturday. Woollux sells online only and takes Visa, Mastercard and PayPal. Its student scheme is limited to students in the United States.

Sustainability at Woollux

Woollux is committed to sustainability, sourcing wool from OEKO-TEX certified farms where sheep graze regeneratively. Their wool fibres are natural, biodegradable, and can be composted, helping to reduce waste and nourish the environment. This approach ensures products are better for animals, land, and rural life.
