Whirli is a toy library run as a subscription. Instead of buying toys that are quickly outgrown, families borrow them, keep them while they're played with, then send them back for something new. The library holds more than 1,000 toys for babies and children, and if one becomes a firm favourite you can buy it.

About Whirli
How swapping works
Your subscription gives you tokens to spend on toys. Pick what you want, and the box arrives with free delivery. When a toy has had its day, send it back, again free, and use the tokens on a replacement. Every returned toy is professionally cleaned and safety checked before it goes out again.
What's in the library
Browse by age, brand or type of toy. Fisher Price Jumperoos and learning toys sit alongside Melissa & Doug activity tables and wooden puzzles. Look out too for Hape's wooden instruments and Pikler triangles from Sawdust And Rainbows. Baby equipment bundles and craft sets are also available.
Good to know
Whirli was founded in 2018 and, after a spell in administration in 2022, became part of Rotate-It Ltd. It delivers in the UK only. Payment is by Direct Debit or credit card, and gift cards are available too. There's a referral programme, plus discounts for NHS and healthcare workers. Customer service answers emails on weekdays from 10am to 4pm.
