Teas and formats

Black tea makes up much of the list, from English Breakfast and Earl Grey to Lady Grey, Darjeeling and Assam. Green teas, fruit and herbal infusions and the Superblends wellbeing range sit alongside, plus decaffeinated versions of popular blacks. Formats vary: standard tea bags, loose leaf, loose leaf pyramids and Cold Water Infusions for chilled drinks.

Gifts and teaware

Beyond the tea itself, the shop stocks teapots, cups and mugs, confectionery and boxed gifts. Gift cards are sold too, handy when you are unsure of someone's taste. Twinings also keeps a single flagship shop at 216 Strand in London, where visitors can explore a museum, taste teas and make bespoke blends.

Delivery and returns at a glance

Spend £30 and delivery is free. Standard UK delivery takes 5 to 7 working days, and express takes about 2. International orders need around 20 working days. You have 14 days to cancel or return, but return postage is your cost. Personalised items and confectionery cannot be returned. Cards from Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted, as is PayPal. Students can get a reduction through Student Beans, and NHS staff and the military have schemes on full-price items.
