Handles are made from Moso bamboo, a fast-growing, naturally antibacterial material that biodegrades. Bristles come entirely from castor oil rather than petroleum-based plastic. If you use an electric brush, Truthbrush also sells sonic replacement heads. Pure White Truthtabs are toothpaste tablets designed to remineralise teeth, with no plastic tube.
Getting used to bamboo
A bamboo brush feels a little different at first, but most people adjust quickly. Products are vegan, and shipping is carbon neutral, with emissions offset from manufacture in China through to your door. The all-woman team behind the brand puts transparency at the centre of how it works.
