The Shutter Store sells made-to-measure interior shutters that you measure up and fit yourself. There are three main ranges: Paulownia hardwood, waterproof faux wood and the no-drill Perfect Fit. Prices are worked out by area, per square metre, using an online configurator. It's aimed at DIY-minded homeowners, and the clip-in Perfect Fit option is designed with renters in mind.

Choosing a range
Hardwood panels use Paulownia timber, are made in China and ship from a UK dispatch centre. Faux wood is made in the UK and is waterproof, which suits bathrooms and kitchens. A simpler Core Faux Wood version is also sold. Perfect Fit frames clip onto the window itself, so no drilling or screws are involved. Panel styles run from café style and tier on tier to full height and solid designs. There are options for bays, sash windows, tilt-and-turn windows and doors.
Before you buy
Free samples of colours and materials can be ordered first. At checkout, an optional free Design Review gets a staff member to check your measurements, layout and frame before manufacture. That check matters, because made-to-measure shutters can't be sent back if you change your mind. You have 1 hour after ordering to cancel or correct details, and Perfect Fit orders can't be altered at all.
Delivery and aftercare
Standard delivery anywhere in the UK is £15, Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands included. Lead times run from 1 to 2 weeks for Perfect Fit and 2 to 4 for faux wood. Hardwood was quoted at 12 to 16 weeks in October 2026. Express costs £18 for next-day Perfect Fit and £35 for faux wood. Boxes are left outside on weekdays. Photograph any transit damage or fault and report it within 24 hours to get a free replacement. Every range carries a 10-year guarantee.
