The Oak Bed Store
The Oak Bed Store is a family business from Portsmouth that has sold solid wood bed frames online since 2009. It has no showrooms, so everything is bought through its website. Solid oak and other hardwoods are the speciality, with storage beds, guest beds, bunk beds and upholstered fabric frames alongside. Matching bedroom furniture lets you finish a room in the same timber.

About The Oak Bed Store
Choosing a frame
Classic solid oak frames sit beside other hardwood designs. If floor space is tight, ottoman storage beds lift to reveal room underneath, while storage beds with drawers keep things within reach. Guest and trundle beds tuck a spare mattress away. Bunk beds suit children sharing a room. Fabric bed frames offer a softer look than bare wood.
Sizes and samples
Every frame comes in all the standard UK sizes. The smallest is a 2ft6 small single and the largest a 6ft super king, with 3ft, 4ft, 4ft6 and 5ft widths in between. Unsure about the shade of a wood finish? Free wood samples can be sent out so you can see the colour in your own room.
Delivery, finance and guarantees
Delivery is free to mainland England and Wales, and orders are not shipped abroad. Items can be returned within 14 days. A 5 Year Workmanship Guarantee covers faulty materials or workmanship from the delivery date. Visa, Mastercard and PayPal are taken. Interest-free credit can spread the cost over up to 12 months, with a short online application. Gift cards are available, and Blue Light Card holders get a discount. Phone lines are open weekdays from 9am to 3pm.
