About Start-Rite Shoes

Start-Rite Shoes boasts an unparalleled legacy as Britain's oldest shoemaker, with a history stretching back to 1792. Based in Norwich, UK, the brand has dedicated over 230 years to understanding and perfecting children's footwear. Their pioneering spirit led to the first nationwide survey of children's feet in 1943, fundamentally changing how children's shoes are designed and fitted. This commitment to foot health and expert craftsmanship earned them a prestigious Royal Warrant in 1955, solidifying their reputation for excellence. Our Footwear Collection Start-Rite offers a comprehensive range of quality children's shoes for every age and stage. From the crucial First Steps and pre-walker ranges, designed for maximum flexibility and gentle protection, to durable and smart school shoes built to last the academic year. Their collection also includes stylish sandals, sturdy boots, casual shoes, and even vegan options. With a focus on precision fit, Start-Rite provides shoes in multiple width fittings and half sizes, ensuring optimal comfort and support for growing feet. Why Choose Start-Rite?
