Stance is a California sock brand, founded in San Clemente in 2009, that has grown into underwear and casual clothing. Its UK site sells the full mix, from performance sports socks to patterned everyday pairs, boxer briefs, T-shirts and hoodies. About Stance
Socks first
Socks remain the main event. There are cushioned performance styles for sport and graphic designs for daily wear, plus collaborations with artists, musicians and well-known brands. Many pairs use Stance's Infiknit construction, built to resist holes. Men's underwear comes as boxer briefs and trunks, and the clothing line covers T-shirts and hoodies. The brand became official sock of the NBA in 2015 and of MLB in 2016.
Stores and service
In London, Stance trades from Covent Garden, its first store outside the US, and from Carnaby Street. There is also an outlet at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. Phone support is open on weekdays from 9am until 5:30pm. Gift cards are sold, and students can verify through UNiDAYS for a discount. NHS, healthcare and military staff also get special pricing.
