About Seasalt Cornwall

Seasalt Cornwall is a distinctive UK fashion brand with a rich heritage rooted in the vibrant coastal community of Penzance. Established in 1981 by Don Chadwick, the brand initially operated as General Clothing Stores, providing durable workwear to local fishermen, farmers, and artists. Inspired by this creative and wild Cornish environment, Don's sons transformed the business into Seasalt, focusing on designing unique collections that capture the essence of Cornwall's landscape, artistic culture, and maritime traditions. Today, a talented team of fashion and textile designers, fine artists, and illustrators bring imaginative ideas to life, creating beautiful and useful clothing designed for longevity and joy.
