4ft6 Double Velvet Shell Bed Adjustable Headboard

This 4ft6 double velvet shell bed is designed for a 135 x 190 cm mattress. The headboard can be adjusted to sit at a useful height above the chosen mattress. The curved headboard is upholstered to match the frame and provides a backrest behind the mattress. The headboard and side panels share the same velvet covering over the supporting frame. The curved, petal-like headboard gives the upholstered bed its distinctive silhouette. Padded sections provide a surface to lean against, while the mattress rests on the supplied slatted base. The headboard offers adjustable height settings for the chosen mattress. Set it to suit the chosen mattress thickness during assembly so that the padded panel remains at a useful height behind the sleeping area. The bed uses a slatted mattress base within its surrounding support structure. The assembled frame includes both the slatted support and the visible outer panels. A mattress is not included. Allow room around the mattress for the frame sides and headboard to fit comfortably. The headboards fabric finish remains visible behind the made-up bed. The finished height takes in the headboard as well as the mattress platform, so check it against the intended wall space.
