8790 HMA Deep 1 4" Drive Hexagon Socket Metric

The Wera 8790 HMA 4mm deep socket represents the smallest size in this professional range, specifically designed for precision work with miniature metric fasteners found in electronics, small appliances, instrumentation, and delicate mechanical assemblies. The 50mm deep profile provides essential reach for recessed mounting screws and small component assemblies where standard sockets lack sufficient depth. Despite its compact dimensions, this socket features the same professional hexagon profile as larger sizes, ensuring optimal force distribution across fastener flats and preventing damage to small bolt heads during torque application. The ball intercept ring maintains secure attachment to your 1/4" drive tools, whilst the knurled lower end enables precise manual positioning—particularly valuable when working with delicate components requiring careful alignment. Wera's Take it easy colour coding system makes this small socket instantly identifiable in your toolkit, reducing frustration when searching for less frequently used sizes. Built to ISO 2725 part 3 standards, this socket delivers professional reliability for both hand operation and non-impact machine use in precision applications.
