Anemone Mr Fokker 8 Bulbs, Blue

Anemone coronaria 'Mr Fokker' produces wide, bowl-shaped violet-blue flowers above attractive clumps of fern-like foliage. This hardy bulb is particularly effective when planted in groups, creating a bright splash of colour in spring. The flowers make excellent cut flowers for indoor arrangements, while the compact growth habit makes this variety ideal for planting through the front of sunny borders. Once established in free-draining soil, 'Mr Fokker' can return year after year with minimal maintenance. How to Grow Soak Anemone coronaria bulbs in water overnight before planting. Choose a position in full sun with light, sandy and well-drained soil. Plant the bulbs approximately 5cm (2") deep, ideally in groups for the best display. Water well after planting and keep the soil reasonably moist during active growth, taking care not to allow the bulbs to sit in waterlogged soil. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it. Height and spread: 20cm (8").
