Sublime's self-titled final studio album is where the band's mix of punk bite, dub basslines, beach-town melody and hip-hop ease clicked on a huge scale. It is loose, catchy and lived-in, the kind of record that jumps from smoke-hazed groove to singalong hook without ever sounding forced.Santeria, What I Got and Doin' Time still hit instantly, but the deeper cuts give the set its shape and swagger.SIDE ONE:1.
