18 Series Automatic Centre Punch

This variant of the Starrett 18 Series Automatic Centre Punch delivers precision marking performance in a compact, professional format. The automatic striking mechanism eliminates the need for a separate hammer, improving efficiency and accuracy when marking out metal components for drilling, assembly, or fabrication work. Constructed entirely from hardened steel, this punch withstands the rigours of daily workshop use whilst maintaining consistent performance. The constant spring tension ensures every mark is uniform in depth and size, critical for maintaining accuracy in metalworking applications. The adjustable knurled cap provides fine control over striking force, allowing operators to adapt to different material thicknesses and hardness levels. The removable hardened steel point can be quickly extracted for regrinding when worn, or replaced entirely, ensuring the tool maintains its marking precision throughout its service life. This feature significantly reduces long-term tooling costs whilst maintaining professional standards. Features and Benefits: • All-steel construction for exceptional durability in demanding environments • Automatic internal mechanism strikes controlled blow with downward pressure • Constant spring tension delivers uniform mark depth and size • Removable point for economical regrinding or replacement • Adjustable knurled cap for precise striking force control
