81S Magnetic Torpedo Spirit Level Holster

The Stabila 81S Magnetic Torpedo Spirit Level is a compact, professional-grade tool designed for accurate levelling in confined spaces and on metal surfaces. Built with a robust die-cast aluminium T-profile body, this torpedo level features a particularly slender trapezoidal bevelled shape that makes it ideal for working in tight or awkward areas where standard levels cannot fit. The level incorporates rare earth magnets mounted directly into the milled measuring surface, providing exceptional holding power on scaffolding, steel beams, and metalwork—five times stronger than standard magnetic levels. This hands-free capability is particularly valuable for electricians, plumbers, and steel erectors working at height or in challenging positions. The milled measuring face ensures precision contact with work surfaces, whilst protective noses shield this critical surface from impact damage on site. Equipped with two vials—one horizontal and one plumb—the Stabila 81S delivers reliable accuracy of 0.029° (0.5mm/m) in normal position and 0.043° (0.75mm/m) in overhead applications. The supplied holster provides secure storage and convenient belt carrying, protecting your investment whilst keeping the level readily accessible throughout the working day.
