E Pz 18 105Mm F4 G Oss Lens

The Sony 18-105mm G Lens delivers stunning still or movie imagery with the flexibility of 6x power zoom. Maximum aperture is a constant F4 from 18mm wide angle to 105mm medium telephoto, with excellent resolution and contrast throughout. A lever and ring on the lens barrel allow zoom speed to be freely adjusted as required while maintaining a sure, stable grip. One lens for your shooting needs Whether you shoot stills or movies, the 18-105mm (full-frame equivalent = 27-157.5mm) zoom range and quality of this fine G Lens will be more than enough for most shooting situations, plus you have the added advantage of smooth power zoom. Smooth, quiet zooming Focusing benefits from the same type of pro-level technology, providing smooth, quiet operation that is also responsive. The length of the lens remains constant while zooming or focusing. Superb rendering at any focal length An advanced optical design that incorporates two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements and three aspherical elements offers enviable G Lens image quality throughout the zoom range. Excellent sharpness and contrast are maintained through the image area, supporting natural, true-to-life rendering that deftly captures even the subtlest visual nuances. Constant F4 maximum aperture A constant F4 aperture across the entire 18105mm range means you can zoom and reframe as necessary without having to think about changing exposure settings. Even at maximum telephoto zoom you can usually shoot without having to boost ISO sensitivity and potentially increase noise. Beautiful G Lens bokeh G Lenses are renowned for their beautifully smooth background bokeh. A 7-blade circular aperture design is part of the reason, enhancing smoothness and producing natural highlights. Smooth background defocusing can make the in-focus subject really stand out in images with almost three-dimensional depth. Continuously variable zoom speed control Fingertip control of zoom speed via the zoom lever on the lens barrel or the zoom ring makes it possible to zoom smoothly while maintaining a sure, steady grip on the camera. This can be a significant advantage for consistent, stable handling, especially when shooting movies. Sharp and clear in any situation Built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilization compensates for camera shake that can blur images when shooting handheld. Sharp, clear night scenes or indoor shots in dim lighting can be captured without the need to boost ISO sensitivity and risk increased noise.
