VS1555 Cylinder Head Support Stands

The Sealey VS1555 Cylinder Head Support Stands are a pair of specialist engine overhaul tools designed to securely support cylinder heads during valve work and maintenance procedures. These professional-grade stands locate into the cylinder head via existing stud holes, providing a stable and elevated working platform that enables precise engine work. The support stands are particularly valuable when reaming valve guides, as they provide essential clearance between the cylinder head and workbench surface. This elevation allows full access for guide reaming tools whilst maintaining the head in a secure, stable position throughout the machining process. Manufactured by Sealey, each stand features a 16mm diameter pin that fits standard cylinder head stud holes, making them suitable for a wide range of engine types. With a combined weight of 1.64kg, the pair offers robust support without being excessively heavy, making them practical for regular use in professional workshops and garages undertaking engine rebuilds and valve train work.
