HGV LGV Air Dryer Cartridge Chain Wrench

The Sealey HGV/LGV Air Dryer Cartridge Chain Wrench is a specialist tool designed for removing commercial vehicle air brake filters efficiently and safely. Constructed from robust steel, this chain wrench features a 180º pivoting handle that provides excellent access to filters in confined or awkward spaces typical of HGV and LGV brake systems. The heavy-duty chain is engineered with a spring locking mechanism that delivers secure grip and added stability during filter removal, preventing slippage even when dealing with stubborn or over-tightened cartridges. With a capacity range of Ø60-160mm, this wrench accommodates the majority of commercial air dryer filter sizes found in heavy goods and large goods vehicles. This tool is essential for fleet maintenance workshops, commercial vehicle technicians, and HGV service centres where routine air brake system servicing is required. The pivoting handle design allows operators to apply effective leverage whilst working around engine bay components and chassis structures that would restrict access with conventional filter wrenches.
