3 8" Drive 14 Flute Oil Filter Cap Wrench Mercedes Benz

The Sealey 3/8" Drive 14 Flute Oil Filter Cap Wrench is a specialist tool designed for removing oil filter housing caps on Mercedes Benz vehicles. This aluminium alloy wrench provides a professional solution for mechanics working on German automotive applications where traditional strap-type filter wrenches cannot be used. The 74.5mm cap-style design features a crowned top that creates multiple leverage points, making it easier to break loose stubborn or over-tightened filter housing caps without slipping. The 14-flute internal profile ensures a secure grip on the filter cap, reducing the risk of rounding off corners during removal. Constructed from aluminium alloy rather than steel, this wrench minimises the risk of damaging delicate filter housings whilst still providing sufficient strength for demanding workshop use. The 3/8" square drive fitting allows it to be used with standard ratchets, breaker bars or torque wrenches, making it compatible with existing socket sets found in most professional toolkits.
