Twister Wood Splitting Wedge

The Roughneck Twister Wood Splitting Wedge is a drop-forged log splitting tool designed for efficiently breaking down logs into firewood. This hardened and tempered wedge features an innovative twisting action that splits logs cleanly into two pieces as it enters the wood, reducing the effort required compared to traditional straight wedges. Ideal for preparing firewood for wood burners and open fires, this dynamic splitting wedge is suited to both professional groundskeepers and homeowners who regularly process logs. The twisting mechanism works by creating rotational force within the log as the wedge penetrates, making it particularly effective on dense or knotty wood that can be challenging with conventional wedges. Constructed through a drop-forging process, the wedge delivers the durability needed for repeated use in demanding splitting tasks. The hardening and tempering treatment ensures the cutting edge maintains its integrity even when driven through tough timber, whilst the substantial 2.27kg weight provides the necessary mass for effective splitting.
