Layout Ink Fluid

The Rocol Layout Ink Fluid is a specialised marking paint designed for precision scribing on metal surfaces in toolrooms, machine shops and engineering environments. This professional-grade layout fluid creates a thin, dry film that enables clear, sharply defined lines to be scribed without flaking or chipping, making it essential for accurate metalwork preparation and measurement transfer. The fluid offers excellent contrast and definition on various metal surfaces, helping engineers and machinists achieve precise marking even in demanding workshop conditions. Its formulation is resistant to washing off by metal cutting fluids, ensuring marks remain visible throughout machining operations. Once work is complete, the layout ink can be easily removed without leaving residue. This blue variant is ideal for marking bright or polished metal surfaces where high contrast is needed. The 1-litre bottle provides excellent value for busy workshops requiring regular layout marking for fabrication, machining and inspection work.
