604AL Ratchet Bi Hexagon Podger Spanner Metric

The Priory 604AL is a lightweight aluminium reversible ratchet scaffold podger spanner designed specifically for scaffolding work where weight reduction is critical. Manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminium, this scaffold spanner weighs just 140g (5oz) – approximately half the weight of an equivalent steel podger – making it ideal for working at height where carrying heavy tools can cause fatigue and reduce efficiency. The short bent design features a flush box configuration that allows use in restricted spaces where standard spanners cannot reach. A convenient flick switch enables quick reversal of the ratchet head direction without removing the tool from the fixing. The reversible box-type socket provides dual sizing: 19mm on one side for aluminium beam bolts and 21mm (7/16 W) on the other, covering the most common scaffold fittings. Built for professional scaffolders, this podger incorporates a lanyard attachment hole for compliance with working at height regulations and tool tethering requirements. The lightweight construction reduces strain during prolonged use whilst maintaining the strength characteristics required for demanding scaffolding applications. Features and Benefits: • Aircraft aluminium construction – half the weight of steel alternatives • Reversible ratchet mechanism with quick-change flick switch • Dual socket sizing (19mm and 21mm) for versatile application • Flush box design for working in confined spaces • Lanyard hole for safe working at height compliance Specifications: Podger Type: Reversible Length: 240mm (9.1/2in).
