Gold Laced Polyanthus Autumn Bedding Plant 9cm Pot

Popularised by the Victorians who displayed them with much pride in 'auricula theatres', this modern variety has all the old world charm, but slightly larger flowers in shades of dark red, scarlet and near-black, edged with gold and silver 'lace'. 'Gold-laced Group' can be used to edge a springtime border where it will complement early risers such as Pulmonaria, hellebore, and winter aconite. Divide large clumps after the plant has flowered, preferably during a wet spell.
