Scotch Export 5766b645870e4f68f4da762e276594d3

Scotch Export is a love letter to Edinburgh's rich brewing heritage, this classic malt-forward Scotch Ale utilises historic 'Fountainbridge yeast', a strain traditionally associated with McEwan's and Caledonian breweries. If, like me you grew up in Edinburgh, you could often smell this in the air if the wind blew a certain way. Expect a sweet, full-bodied Scottish ale withcaramel, toffee, androasted malt flavours, with grassy and floral hops, balanced by a pleasant, mild bitterness and smooth mouthfeel. In contrast to the tourist-shop AI Highland Cows that plague Edinburgh, we've teamed up with local artist Steven Cox to showcase one of his highly textured abstract paintings. You can learn more about his process here.
