3024 Abrasive Clean Up Strips Pack 10

The Monument 3024 Abrasive Clean Up Strips are versatile 180 grit cleaning strips designed for a wide range of surface preparation and finishing tasks in plumbing and general trade work. Constructed from waterproof open mesh abrasive material with a silicone coating, these strips deliver reliable performance in both dry and wet conditions. These cleaning strips excel at multiple applications including roughing up pipe surfaces before soldering or joining, cleaning residue from inside fittings, and deburring both metal and wooden surfaces. The flexible strip format can be cut into smaller sections, making them particularly useful for accessing tight spaces inside fittings and preparing confined areas that standard abrasive sheets cannot reach. The 180 grit specification provides an effective balance between material removal and surface finishing, making these strips suitable for preparing surfaces prior to jointing work or removing light corrosion and oxidation. The waterproof construction ensures consistent performance even when used with lubricants or in damp conditions, whilst the open mesh design prevents clogging during extended use.
