10 Piece Stiffnuts Pro Tool Kit

The Monument 10 Piece Stiffnuts Pro Tool Kit is a comprehensive tap installation and removal system designed for plumbers working with 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch BSP taps in awkward or confined spaces. This professional-grade kit tackles the common problem of seized or stubborn backnuts, using the mechanical advantage of the tap tail's thread to break free stiff fixings that conventional spanners cannot reach. The tool stays securely in position on the tap tail, allowing one-handed operation and leaving your other hand free to support the tap or steady yourself in tight working conditions. This boxed kit is supplied with multiple adaptors including a 3/8-inch cordless drill adaptor for powered removal, a 1/2-inch square drive for ratchet use, and an extension tube for enhanced reach and leverage. The Monument 173 system accommodates the most common tap backnut sizes encountered in UK plumbing: 25mm, 27mm, 29mm ribbed, and 32mm nuts. Whether you're replacing kitchen taps in cramped under-sink spaces, working on bathroom installations, or dealing with corroded fixings during refurbishment work, this kit provides the versatility needed for efficient tap installation and removal. Full user instructions are included to ensure correct application and maximum tool life.
