Speyside Distillery 2009 Old Zodiac Scorpio Whisky Exchange Speyside Whisky

70cl / 53.9% / The Whisky Exchange - Scorpio is a sign associated with the determined, passionate and steadfast, all qualities that fit a certain prestigious Speyside distillery just outside of Craigellachie, who have a long and proud history with sherry matured style whisky. On the nose are classic heavy sherried notes of fruitcake, stewed raisins, dark chocolate and baking spices. That continues onto the full, sweet palate, as maraschino cherries, juicy dates and molasses all join this rich after-dinner dram.
