Tourbe Single Malt French Whisky

50cl / 44.5% - Based alongside the Loire a few miles upstream of Angers, La Piautre are France’s only organic maltster, brewery and distillery. A peated single malt made with La Piautre’s own floor-malted barley, distilled in two direct wood-heated Charentais stills and then matured for 40 months in new French oak, that smoke presents immediately with notes of peat, cigar and black tea, before liquorice, clove and a little pepper join on the balanced, full-bodied palate. A distinctive, expressive whisky.
