Original Single Malt French Single Malt Whisky

50cl / 44.5% - Based alongside the Loire a few miles upstream of Angers, La Piautre are France’s only organic maltster, brewery and distillery. Made with La Piautre’s own floor-malted barley, distilled in two direct wood-heated Charentais stills and then matured in Chenin, cognac and new French oak barrels for between 4 and 6 years, this single malt presents aromas of raisins, quince, vanilla and oak, before a balanced palate expands with dried figs and apricots and cardamom.
