12 64 Automatic Insulation Stripper Flat Cable

The Knipex 12 64 180 Automatic Insulation Stripper is a specialised tool designed for removing insulation from PVC flat cables quickly and precisely. This professional-grade wire stripper adapts automatically to various conductor heights, making it ideal for electricians and contractors working with flat cable installations up to 12mm wide. The automatic adjustment mechanism is engineered to prevent damage to the conductor whilst accommodating cables from 0.75 to 2.5mm² (AWG 18-14). This makes the tool particularly suitable for domestic and light commercial electrical work where flat cable is commonly used for lighting circuits, bell wires, and low-voltage applications. Built with practicality in mind, this insulation stripper features replaceable blades for long-term economy and a smoothly operating mechanism that reduces hand fatigue during repetitive stripping tasks. The lightweight construction enables extended use without strain, whilst the design allows for longer stripping lengths when required for specific installations. Features and Benefits: • Automatic adaptation to conductor height prevents wire damage • Replaceable blade system for cost-effective maintenance • Lightweight design reduces user fatigue during extended use • Smooth operating mechanism for consistent performance • Capable of long stripping lengths for specialist applications Specifications: Stripping capacities in square millimetres: 0.75 — 2.5 mm² AWG: 18 — 14 Maximum cable width: 12mm
