Cognac Cask Matured Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

70cl / 50% / Distillery Bottling - Another exploration of full-term maturation from Kilchoman, this time in first-fill ex-cognac barriques. The 2026 edition was laid down in 2019 and the time spent marrying the Islay farm distillery with the influence of the wood has created a delightful harmony. Orchard fruit, honey, toasted nuts, baking spices and coastal peat smoke lead on the nose, while the palate presents a buttery mouthfeel as baked fruit and honeycomb join. Fruity sweetness and drying smoke see out a lingering finish.
