Base Prefilter SP Water Pumps

The Karcher Base Prefilter is designed to enhance the performance and longevity of SP3 and SP5 water pumps by providing an additional layer of filtration against debris and particle ingress. This simple yet effective accessory sits beneath the pump base and clips securely into place without requiring any tools, making it an ideal solution for tradespeople and contractors working with dirty water sources on construction sites, in drainage applications, or during emergency water removal tasks. The 5mm mesh effectively captures larger particles before they can reach the pump impeller, significantly reducing the risk of blockages and mechanical wear. This is particularly valuable when pumping from ponds, sumps, or excavations where sediment and debris are present. The prefilter maintains full flow rates whilst delivering enhanced protection, ensuring reliable operation even in challenging conditions. With its compact dimensions of 177mm x 179mm x 53mm and lightweight 0.1kg construction, the prefilter is easy to transport and store alongside your pump equipment. The quick-clip attachment system allows for rapid installation and removal for cleaning, minimising downtime on site.
