HSS Cobalt Drill Bit Metal 5mm Pack 10

The IRW10502527 is a 5mm HSS Cobalt Drill Bit supplied in a pack of 10, representing one of the most commonly used sizes in metalworking applications. This diameter is perfect for drilling stainless steel and high alloy steels for a wide range of fixings, brackets, and structural work. The 5mm size is frequently specified in mechanical assembly, fabrication projects, and general maintenance tasks. Engineered with 5% cobalt content, this drill bit offers exceptional resistance to heat and abrasion, maintaining its cutting performance far longer than standard HSS alternatives. The heavy-duty web construction ensures maximum strength and rigidity, reducing deflection and the risk of breakage during demanding applications. The 135° split point starts drilling immediately upon contact, eliminating bit walk and ensuring precise hole placement every time.
