4X Groove Quick Change Flat Drill Bit Extension

The Irwin 4X Blue Groove Quick Change Flat Drill Bit Extension is designed to increase drilling depth when working with 4X flat bits. This extension features the quick change system for fast and efficient bit changes on site, making it ideal for tradespeople who need to reach deeper into timber frame construction, joists, or other structural work where standard bit length is insufficient. Compatible exclusively with Irwin 4X flat drill bits, this extension provides the additional reach required for demanding applications. The Blue Groove design ensures secure connection and reliable performance during extended drilling operations, whilst the quick change hex shank allows for rapid attachment to power drills and impact drivers without requiring additional tools or adapters. The 300mm extension length is particularly useful for electricians and plumbers drilling through thick timber members, as well as carpenters working on first-fix applications where access is limited.
